The Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Councillor Julie Pickering joined Your Healthcare today on a tour around Amy Woodgate, our specialist resource centre, passing on her seasonal good wishes to all our residents and day care users who have dementia.
The Mayor enjoyed festive musical entertainment from Partytime Productions performing Christmas songs after visiting the day centre and residential area.
She was introduced to many people who use the facilities at Amy Woodgate who were delighted to see her and accepted her best wishes.
The Mayor of Kingston, Councillor Julie Pickering, said: "It was wonderful to spend time at Amy Woodgate today with both the day centre users and residents. I was impressed hearing about the care given to everyone here and the ways in which their needs are met. It was a privilege to be with them and wish them all a merry Christmas."
George Tong, Day Centre Manager, said: "It was a pleasure to host the Mayor today and on behalf of my colleagues I would like to thank the Mayor for coming and spending time with our residents."
