The Information Management service is based at Hollyfield House and provides a range of services to the organisation while linking with the Connecting your Care system in a secure and confidential manner to support the effective sharing of information across the community and the patient experience.
The role of the Information Management Team continues to develop and expand across all locations and services within Your Healthcare and is an important factor in the enablement of the operational service. This allows our technology systems to support clinical and administrative staff to be able to undertake their job more efficiently/effectively and therefore help contribute to a reduction in risk and improvements in patient healthcare.
Information Management is responsible for:
- Reporting on National Indicators to NHS Digital.
- Participating in national audit programmes in line with the Data Protection policy and with service user consent.
- Promoting service user information confidentiality and responsible for putting in place information sharing agreements with external organisations in line with the Data Protection policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation.
- Reporting on performance of service areas to commissioners to support contract obligations.
